What does a patient see if the median & 90th percentile are over 2 hours?

For the fully integrated ERAdvisor product, what would a patient see when both the median and 90th percentile estimates are over 2 hours?

 

 

Answer:

The Fully integrated ERAdvisor product has a maximum wait time that we show to the patient if their predicted wait time is above the cap we have set for each step. The caps we have for each of the steps are as follows:

  1. Registration -> Triage: 30 minutes
  2. Triage -> Treatment Area: 2 Hours
  3. Treatment Area: -> Secondary Assessment: 2 Hours
  4. Secondary Assessment -> Disposition: 2 Hours

If the predicted 50th and 90th percentile wait times are above the cap for the given step we show the wait-time using a “+” symbol:2+ hours
