At the time of go-live, does Vital send text messages to patients who were in the ED prior to the go-live time or only to patients who check in after the time at which SMS is enabled?
Answer:
When enabling SMSs for a facility, we send invites to ER patients when the start of their visit was less than 12 hours ago. This is in addition to the usual checks on eligibility (critical care, minors, deceased, not completed,...). There is no "recently started" restriction for inpatient visits.
