Follow-up messaging customization options

Question:

Does the text reminder to schedule a follow-up appointment link to the generic appointment scheduling page, or is it more targeted than that, i.e. link to schedule with a specific discipline based on the ED notes?  What are the config options with this particular functionality?


Answer:

At the moment, this is a generic appointment scheduling follow-up link. That said, we do include more targeted information in the message to encourage the patient to click through into that link.

i.e.

Hello {patientFirstName}, {attendingPhysician} asked us to reach out to schedule a follow-up appointment. 
    
    We have found specialists in your area who have availability. Click here to schedule an appointment: 
    
    {followUpUrl}
 

 

Followup Question:

Do we have other data points we could pull in to customize follow-up SMS? Or opportunities to send specific messages to specific groups of patients?
